Your Nintendo Wii Console is one expensive piece of electronic equipment, and considering that not everyone has one, you can indeed actually make money with it.  The game system isn't just for kids.  Adults love it too, but because it is on the pricey side, people end up playing it at other peoples homes.  Here's how to make money with your Nintendo Wii Console:

A great way to make back your three hundred dollar investment is to rent out your Nintendo Wii Console.  This works especially well in college towns. Students consider it a good way to blow off a little steam.  The marketing secret is to do some sort of competition and perhaps offer some worthy prize for winning it.

The Nintendo Wii is great for a wii party.  Invite the neighbor kids and see how many show up at the door with five bucks each ready to play for a few hours.  These types of parties can be a really great way to make money on a weekly basis.  If you want to get creative about it, do it as a raffle.  Raffle off a chance to enjoy a few hours of use for a small price.  Use your imagination.

Organize a neighborhood Nintendo Wii contest at the local youth center.  Kids love video games and competing with other kids is great fun.  Coordinate a wii contest night and charge a small cover fee.  You will be doing a great service to the community.

Become a wii console repairman and save people the trouble of having to send it in.  There are guides available that can teach you how to do most repairs on a wii console.

Finally, be a reviewer of wii games.  Play them and then write about the experiences.  What you liked about them and what you did not like.  Set up a membership web page and offer access to your reviews, tips and tricks, etc.  Try to setup as an affiliate with stores and firms that sell wii games and related stuff.  Get creative, you might be able to make it as a parts dealer, consultant or paid instructor.
