Communicate effectively within the shortest period time, and your online business will blossom. So say the gurus. Agree, or disagree? To some degree they have to be right because when you analyze it, for profit organizations are pouring more and more money into multi-media (streaming video) production technology. Just take a look at what the networks are doing with the NCAA basketball tournament.

YouTube style video sharing is growing like a weed. If you are ready to get started in this dynamic method of sales promotion and you expect to be beginning at "square one", the simplest way, then this article is for you. For the purposes of this article I am going to assume that you already have your website built out and that all of your transaction processing solutions are in full effect, so that all you need is traffic. If you are lacking in any of these areas then just read though some of the many other Mooker offering help that you need.

The first thing that you should think about is getting your hands on some SCREEN CAPTURE software. You can find this on the web and it can be had for free or very inexpensively. Screen capture software creates videos for you by recording all of the movement on the screen including mouse clicks and scrolls. Once you have that installed on your machine you should practice video creation by recording a short video of you moving your mouse about and opening and closing some files. After that it is time to create some actual content. One very easy way to do this is to simply do a screen capture of you typing out some lines of text on an open notepad. The text would of course be your "ad copy" and would include some helpful information about your product or service and conclude with the URL of your website. If you dig through YouTube you will see quite a number of videos that consist of exactly that, but you can do much better.

Rather than show the world someone typing out text complete with the backspaces, mistakes and corrections, you could instead type out the text ahead of time and then simply do a screen capture of you scrolling down through text at a speed that most people are comfortable reading. An added benefit of this is that you can format the text to any size an color. This is an improvement, but you can still do much better. Why not consider building a JavaScript scroller into a web page that tells your whole story, then recording a screen capture that just shows the scroller? To my knowledge this has not been done yet. It is one semi-professional way of quickly creating a video that pushes traffic to your site.

Want to do better than that? Good for you! OK, why not experiment with JavaScript, applet, or other software methods of creating simple slide shows that automatically advance the images? Then all you have to do is start up your slide show and do a screen capture of the presentation. You are good to go. To do this you are going to need slides. The easiest way to make slides is to use the "Paint" program which is one of the free accessory programs that come with Windows. All of this assumes that you have a PC. If you are Mac, you do not need me to tell you how to manipulate images. You ought to know already.

Slide creation is mostly pretty easy. What you want to do is have a mixture of images that includes simple text along with other slides consisting of actual image files that might relate to your product or service. These image files could be "marked up" with text in an attractive and contrasting font that is pasted over the image. This text should include important info such as your website URL or contact info. See below for a sample image.

Once you become good at making slides then you need to explore all of the available software options that you can use to combine them into a visually compelling presentation. Do not neglect to learn about the use of sound and music files. Be sure to check out other articles on this site on how to do this.
