Overunity is NOT about efficiency...

Interesting question Jim. There is a plant I know by the name lightroot, or dioscorea opposita, sometimes it is called Chinese yam, but that may be a slightly different plant. But my point - my friend grows it, it grows in sand, no fertilizers, maybe some minerals in the sand. And it grows quite tall and deep. So we are baffled by what does that plant grow from. Because from what we can tell, it only has some sand, water and sunshine. The name lightroot then seems quite fitting since it seemingly grows from sunshine.

Hi Kloakez,

Just like you describe, I can take 2 identical philodendron cuttings. Dry one out and weigh it.  Or calculate the mass of the dry cutting.

Now place an identical cutting in distilled water and sunlight.  That one will growing roots, longer stem, and start shooting leaves from water and sunlight alone. It doesn't even need nutrients.

After some time, we dry that one and do the same mass calculation.  We should see a gain in mass.

So is it feasible to believe a temporary water supply and sunlight can create mass and the water a plant takes in is all given back at the end?  And the "Spark of Life" most definitely has much to do with it.

I like these conversations. Electroculture is something I've been taking an interest in lately.

I've done the simple experiment of placing a magnet under a small bowl with water, a tissue and seeds on the kitchen window and watched with excitement as the germination happened within a day or so, not the normal week. Another time I've wound copper spirals on a stick inserted into the pot of an unwell plant had it return to health.

I believe that 'what we need to live' has been replaced by 'what we need to buy to live' and in turn has masked and supressed a completely healthier way of living and being.

Back to the question of creating mass - absolutely we can, but not with our current way of thinking - although nature is all around us showing what is possible, we seem pretty blind to it.
