I don't see this as a new magnetic Property. I see it as a curious mind trying to understand magnetism. "spinning magnetic field" could be considered as a 'different' concept than Rotating Magnetic Fields. Spinning tends to imply only 2 vectors of the Field being 'spun' whereas Rotating also implies around another object. We rotate around the sun while the earth is spinning. So what do you think Uniongarage? is it an example anything other than a new kind of Pendulum? This thread is about Properties of magnetics that form the basis of New Inventions. Try to keep on topic

Sorry don't subscribe to the spinning earth theory. Nor Flat earth either. Matrix ? Maybe realm, explain consciousness. What is it to be Human? Probably a subject for a different forum. Sorry if it was off topic, I thought it showed how a magnet could spin on companion magnets . I will try to stick on the subject. Can you show any new properties of magnets that can be of a visual demo?

"Can you show any new properties of magnets that can be of a visual demo? "
In the very first post of this thread I posted the now renamed Video of new magnetic properties for dummies. where "Joe explains and shows the real effects to the Field change here… https://rumble.com/v4odo38-joe-may-2010-magnetic.html" Didnt you see it?

I'm sorry , 40 years ago my automotive mentor showed me a lot about magnets and their domains . If you and your friend have found something that's new to you that's wonderful , this is what I thought this forum was for. I mean no disrespect to you , and if I have offended you , I'm Truley Sorry. Could I ask this , why is the strongest magnetic feild domain at the edge of the magnet ? As in the case with the magnets in the video. Just curious.

Throwing in my 2c here as I take a deeper look at SN|NS magnet arrangements.
I've got 4 x 100mm OD and 60mm ID ferrite magnetic rings, 17mm thick, with a hold force of 3.9Kg. 2 x waterjetcut washers, 105mm OD, 55mm ID, 8 mm thick. Arranged as pictured, I can 'almost' lift an olympic size barbell weighing 65Kg off the ground with one of these on each end. Given the contact patch is only a few mm's, and the inside of the washer is even more concentrated, we have a river of flux to tap. It occurred to me that AC twists depending on direction, and with the N field now in the middle with a S field either side, I believe I can arrange coils around the inside and outside circumference of the washer to oscillate or direct the N field to either S magnetic field. Inside coil to direct the N field to the left S magnetic field, and at the same time the outside field to be directed to the right S field - and alternate between these two states. Pick coils on either side of the washer inside and outside to pick up that alternating field and induce current. I'm also wondering if a simple sense coil (or two) could be used to switch transistors to create the oscillations and make it self contained.

Edit Reason: Adding more info
)
... a quick follow up post now I have viewing film.
Why is the field blocked (light green) from only one side when the two washers are pressed together? I've flipped everything over to rule out any anomalies and it remains. Edit: A bit of wild speculation, but after slowly rotating the magnets held together as shown, the biased green side turns out to be South facing. At East/West, the bias disappears and the magnets appear symmetrical in field strength. Rotating either direction from here has the bias re-appear. And even wilder, it changes between daylight and night time hours. Edit: No rush @Merlynn - plenty of re-reading to do before I ask too many questions Guests cannot see images in the messages. I will get to this experiment of yours when I have time. I have pressing things at hand atm.

Hello MerLynn. Thanks for sharing information here. I tried to make a desalination joe cell from these videos before i came across this thread and failed to get any results. I want a cell to clean salty groundwater for irrigation of a very small market garden in a small coastal town in Tasmania. I emailed you and Peter Stevens seeking such a cell but never got a response (which is fair enough!) I have a question that i have tried to answer myself but it remains a mystery to me. Do you have any idea why welcome rain induces a strong growth response in unfertilised plants, when the same rainwater stored in a stainless steel or plastic tank and applied as irrigation water does not initiate a growth response? And if I may ask another question about Joe's inline cells, do you know if anyone other than Joe ever built a working cell for desalination? Thanks and kind regards, Sandy.

Thanks and kind regards, Sandy. hi. the rainwater spins to the left as it falls from the sky to the ground. that is why it 'induces' growth, but not when it's been stagnant stored in a tank. only Joe knows how to get an inline cell to desalinate. but this water once treated cannot be tested or approved for use.
