List of truly Open Source concepts
#1
I thought it would be worth to list some concepts that are fully open source, with no black box or unknown parts.
Whether there is a working device is not as important as whether the concept makes sense.

I'll start by some that I recall spontaneously:

LENR
T.T. Brown "antigravity" thruster (as a drive)
Bedini SSG (COP debatable)
Tesla radiant energy collector (works 24h, but solar panels deliver 10x)
my Anti Lenz Field generator concept
Catalysis of gas monatomization on metal surfaces (like switching between diatomic H2 and monatomic H H to get pressure fluctuation)
Variable capacitance paradox
original Adams
high altitude antenna
heat fluctuation by evaporation cooling (drinking bird)
Utilizing heat difference eg. by underwater vs in the air (think peltier boat)

Did I forget anything? :-)

Similar to, but not really in the same category, in the way you have them listed here, devices, such as Tesla's Self-Acting Engine that, as Tesla wrote:

I finally conceived a combination of apparatus which should make possible the obtaining of power from the medium by a process of continuous cooling of atmospheric air. This apparatus, by continually transforming heat into mechanical work, tended to become colder and colder.

While similar to the two mentioned above the underlying principle is different, being, a heat engine that continues operating, not due to a natural or pre-existing temperature difference but that maintains the temperature difference itself: "by continually transforming heat into mechanical work"

There is a long history of such devices aside from, or in addition to Tesla's

See attached PDF for example:

.pdf   JMEAW-1903-06-p215-6 PLACE (1).pdf (Size: 620.54 KB / Downloads: 12)

Starting on second page, right column, under the heading "Continuous Power".

In addition, there was John Gorrie the inventor of mechanical refrigeration with his ice making machine, Charles Tripler's "over unity" liquid air machine, John Gamgee's Ammonia cycle "Zeromotor" etc.

Don't forget the simplest of them all - Floyd Sweet's SQM/VTA.

My variant of the Adams Motor is using partnered output coils, much like Don Smith and Floyd Sweet.

Then there is Michael Bendall's Thunderstorm Generator, which once understood has enormous potential.

Thanks guys.
RE Tesla's Self-Acting Engine, repeatable effects due to heat exchange (for example bending of Nitinol) can be used in a loop, if a part of the released energy is used to revolve the reacting parts in a way so they can recover. For example, a bi-metal stripe bends due to heat, but the bending pushes it out of the heat, where it cools down again, before reaching the heat again - for instance mounted on a wheel. I think "Minato's wheel" was supposed to work that way. Of course Mythbusters screwed it up, in their free energy debunking episode.
