Another Virtual Rotation Thread
#41
Sorry to hear you've got to rewind, but on the upside you'll absolutely know how things work when done. I had been wondering what your outputs were.

Output is wound.  This is unlike anything I have ever seen or thought of before.  It incorporates a whole new component to rotation.  It's a single phase output but with a twist.  (literally and figuratively).

I should have enough room in the slots to squeeze in the last rotator coil.  Then this thing is maxed out!

Oh man, this is the best and craziest thing I ever wound.  It's JUICY!

Each rotator has 576 turns.  And it has 2 rotators.

Each output coil has 320 turns of thicker wire (160 turns of Bifilar), and there's 2 output coils that can be seriesed or paralleled.  Plus the Bifilar gives me more options to increase current or voltage.

It's wound Full-Pitch , so it's a 2 pole virtual rotor.  And it's wound in a special way that I hope puts all layers in opposition to oppose.

Now the soldering nightmare begins Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register at the forum by clicking here to see images.

Some testing complete-  Output SUCKS!  LOL

I plan to keep this coil as-is for future experiments..
